This virtual exhibit, titled after the 1956 book by sociologist Erving Goffman, considers how the presentation of the self has been drastically altered since the current global pandemic that forced many to quarantine in their homes. Students, while processing their experience of quarantine, were tasked with creating their individual interpretation of a portrait utilizing interdisciplinary media including, painting, drawing, printmaking, digital illustration, video, and photography. Curated by Andrew Norris, Graduate Student at the University of Florida.
